I would like to display a chart/graph from a report on a form rather than having it open independently. I have been playing with the Pivot Chart form, but that typically ends badly after I move the pivot fields around. I just want a fixed report to display on a form, then be replaced with another report as the user decides.

Any suggestions to effectively display graphs within a form?

thank you

Have you tried copying the chart control from the report to the form? When creating charts for reports, I generally begin by creating the chart on a form. When I have this looking as desired, I copy and paste it to my report.

that's very close, however i would like to have control over the report that is displayed. is it possiblee to hide the first chart, and replace it with a different chart in the same location?

You can set controls' visible property to hide/display any control.
