Example:

Row 1 has the name "Omega"
Row 2 has the name "Delta"
Row 3 has the name "Gamma"

Is there a way I can have the output diplayed as follows:

1 Omega
2 Delta
3 Gamma
etc.....

In Excel, I use the fill series function. Essentially, this is just a consective number insert or fill for each row.

I have Crystal 8.0

You have a couple of options.
1. Drag the Record Number field onto the Report from the Field Explorer, Special Fields.

2. You can also create a Running Total thatwould allow you to count everything globally or you could reset your count everytime you changed groups.

If you don't need to reset your count, use the Record Number special field.
If you need to reset it, use the Running Total option.
