I want my WEB page to display a true type font I created.

this does not work
<p>Barcodes for the WEB.</p>
<p><font face=&quot;CODE39-16 pt&quot; size=&quot;5&quot;>*12345*</font></p>
Even if I put the font on my WEB site.
Is there a way to specify the WEB page to use my font If I put it on my WEB site somewhere.
TIA
DougP, MCP

One of the compromises Internet technology made was that instead of downloading a font from the website and taking up even more download time, it uses the ones that are on the user's computer. Therefore, if your font doesn't exist on the user's computer, it will default to something like Times New Roman (and may have unexpected results you DON'T want).

Your best bet is probably to use the font in images, such as one you might use for the heading of a section or page.

Isn't there a microsoft program that will embed a font on a website or page? I've heard it's not very well liked, but I'm sure it exists.

I posted this on another forum too
They said using Style Sheets CSS and then get a program taht make a font into another file that can be used in the style sheet.
I have not done it yet.
here are the details of the other post
----------------
you would use the WEFT program to create a file that you would then place into your website folder, i suggest on the root.

then in a CSS file have something that looks liks this:

@font-face {
font-family: Arial Black;
font-style: normal;
font-weight: normal;
src: url(/ARIALBL0.eot);
}

this will only work in IE it is not supported in NN, so people viewing your site in NN will get a default font. if you are only using this font in a logo then could you not just create a graphic?
