Hi all,

I have a problem that i am sure has an easy solution. I have two layers in my AE project. One is a simple picture (A) and the other is a layer (B) that I am using as a distortion displacement map for the first picture.

I displace A with B and everything is fine. However I want to animate A scaling smaller over time. The problem is that the displacement gets smaller too which I don't want to happen. The picture A should scale but I want the diplacement pattern of B to stay the same size, position etc...

It seems a layer is "hard wired" to have an effect applied to it reletive to it's original size. If it gets scaled, the effect gets scaled to. In this instance I don't want that to happen.

How do I do it.
