Hi Guys, I am new to solaris and was wondering if anyone can tell me where can i get the package to install Disksuite I don't have the Solaris easy access server 2.0 cd.

I got it from CD2 from Solaris 8 2/02


It's 10Mb big when zipped,
I wouldn't mind uploading it somewhere,

If you're using Solaris 8, then disksuite is included on
the CD "Software 2 of 2" in the EA subdirectory.
You can download the Solaris 8 CD images from the Sun
Microsystems web site (

http://www.sun.com).

Alternatively, you can also download Disksuite v4.2.1
from this URL at the sun web site:

http://www.sun.com/software/solaris/ds/ds-disksuite/

Easy access 2.0 you will probably only find on ebay for
example if someone is selling the CD.

Thanks for replying guys, I was studying for my part II solaris test and that't the reason I wanted disksuite to practice on. Can I use disksuite included on Solaris 8 cd for solaris 7 ??

Hi,

I don't think disksuite needs sol8.
The version i'm using is 4.2.1, works on sol8 & sol7
