I am trying to set up a diskless workstation to access the published desktop on a citrix server running on windows server 2003. I have built the network boot image using thinstation. Everything works fine until I enter login details and then I get the message
"To log on to this remote computer you must have terminal server access permissions on this computer". I can login with the same username and password OK if I use the Citrix client on a win98 machine or on a full linux machine so i can't see that it is a server issue. I tried a prebuilt boot image from the thinstation website and I get the same error.
I've found lots of instances of this error on the web and checked all of the given solutions to no avail. Has anyone else seen this problem.
Thanks
Dave

HI Dave

See on server in EventLog errors in time of test to connect from this diskless-computer. I think you become error Terminal Server Cannot issue license ...
That means You must build in this image an RDP client, and at start Connecting to this server from RDP connection, than will be connection from Citrix Client possible. Or You haven't free Terminal Server licenses.
Same problems are eg. on Wyse Terminals. At start RDP connection: at this moment Terminal Server from 2000 or 2003 gave license to the computer in database, than Citrix.

I hope this will be solution for You

Best Regards
Jerzy
