Does anyone know of a good wipe program capable of DOD level wipes? Currently we are using WipeDrive, which takes about 3hrs to do a DOD wipe of a 30GB HD. I am wondering if there is anything faster out there at a reasonable price (read cheap). The drives need to be reused so the ol' magnet won't work.

Here's a free one:

In my experience it is a little faster than what you mentioned above, and has quite a few options in terms of the method:

Quick Erase, Canadian RCMP TSSIT OPS-II Standard Wipe, American DoD 5220-22.M Standard Wipe, Gutmann Wipe, PRNG Stream Wipe (Mersenne Twister) and you can specify the number of rounds.

At the bottom of that page is a list of similar products - though most are commercial (not free), but still not expensive.
