Disk usage reporting

Anyone have any idea of how to report how much disk is assigned in Solstice? Here is the situation:

I have a 36G disk with SDS. Slice 5 is 29.5g and holds all of the soft partitions. I want to be able to tell how much of the metadevice on slice 5 has been allocated to soft parts and how much is available. Right now I do a df -lk and add up how much I have used. Another option is to do a metastat and add up the blocks used by the softparts as opposed to the blocks available on the metadevice. If anyone knows of an automatic way of reporting this, please let me know.

You can write the crontab script to show disk usage everyday/hour.

I have a script that monitors file system usage, and alerts me at anything over 90%. What I want to see is how much of a solstice volume (metadevice) is assigned to a file system and how much is available.
