Just a quick question. I have been troubleshooting sudden poor performance lately...
What kind of bytes/sec are you all getting to your database disks?
I have a RAID5 set up across 4 disks (i know I know, reprimend me later, I have another array on the way to set up raid10), but I am only getting a max of 2433497.880 (according to perfmon) which is what, just over 2MB/second.
I just want confirmation that something is hardware wrong, because I have write queues into the 200's, disk sec/read is like 400ms, disk sec/write is around 700ms. Everyone is tired of Outlook Trying to Receive Data, and tired of their BLackberries lagging 15-30 minutes.
suggestions?
