Disk Thresholds in Guests

I'm looking for a solution to monitoring disk space on our Vmware guests. I've tried using HP SIM with their virtual machine managment pack but it does not seem to give you alerts for low disk space. Is there a way to do this in virtual center? Or are you just using a 3rd party like MOM?
