Is there a command or script that I can run that will show how much allocated and unallocated disk space I have on my machines. I have K460's with HP-UX 11.00
tree740: I just ran the script and it doesn't give as much readable information as the script I use. Post your email address and I will send you what I use.
bdf only tells you what disk space you are using. It doesn't tell you how much unallocated disk space you have. Nor does it tell you how your filesystems are laid out -- which is very important for performance of databases.
Have you tried vgdisplay <vgname> , it gives you total PE and Allocated PE and Free PE. IF you want which drives are assigned to that <vgname> use -v with vgdisplay.
