Is there any cheap way to have disk quota management on folders in Win 2000? I would like to limit the size of project folders, no matter what user. That way if the project grows over say, 100 megs, the people working on the project would have to come ask for more disk space, of just clean up their project.

I saw a few commercial products that claim to do this, but they are all in the $1000 range.

Microsoft's implementation of Disk Quotas is almost useless. It is volume based and totally unaware of group configurations etc. You could not limit a person's personal home drive on a same volume that you want that person to have 10 the amount of space for group project files.

Not much help I know, sorry.
