Disk pool utilisation

Hi,

We use a disk pool as cache which directly migrates to a tape pool.
Backups start at 3:00 AM and the cache is used.
We now would like to know the max utilisation in % the disk pool was used during the backup.
The standard report only shows the utilisation at the moment the report is run (8:00 AM) which is 0.
We would like to know the situation during the backups when the disk pool is really used.
Is there a query to get this from the database and does TSM keep a history for every backup pool regarding utilisation ?

Hi there,

Unfortunately, not that I have seen. Your best bet may be a little script that runs every hour from 3am onwards that does a "q stg stgpool >> stgpool.log" or something.

Not sure if there's a prettier way to do it..
