Disk monitor

I have an exchange server 2003, that users accessing their emials seem to be slow. i have checked for network bottlnecks and everything is okay. i have moved the logs to a differenet drive.
My main question is how do i see disk monitor, or check to see if its been clugged.
I am dumb when it comes to Disk access. i dont know what to monitor on perfmon, what counters for disk and what they should be. whats the basices?
