Disk Migration in Nseries gateway 5000 environment

Guys

I have a situation where i have to play with a NSeries 5000 gateway.

This gateway is serving san disks from ESS now and we have to replace this ESS with DS8300...

I never worked on these gateways , so searching for some documentations and guides...appreciate any links

Is it possible to run these gateways with both ESS and DS8300 storage togather? what would be best way of doing this kind of migration?

Which DS? I don't see a 3800 listed on the IBM web site. 8300 by any chance (the 8300 is supported)? You can find the supportability matrix for your N series at

http://www.ibm.com.

An IBM NSeries gateway is a rebranded Netapp V Series. You can check the Netapp web site as well.
