hay guys i come to you with a question and a problem. Ok i have a 20 gig disk that when i view it from the disk managment windows shows up healthy. But when i try to access it from say explorer, it says that it isn't formatted. So i say ok, format it, nope windows was unable to format the drive. When i go into the logs and view the disk error, it says there is a bad disk block, which i assume is a bad sector, so my question to you is, is there any softwear that will scan a drive, find bad sectors, and partition around them?? cause i have 1 drive i know has bad sectors, now this, and other i would like to try it to. Thanks

go for partition magic, that should definitely work. I guess you already know that with partition magic you don't loose your existing data while you create a new partition or rearrange partitions.
