is it possible to recover data from a drive that has been initialized in winxp by mistake which caused that all the partition info have been removed (at least fdisk says "no partitions defined"?
if so how?
thanx

As long as you've written nothing else to the disk, then it should be recoverable - but it may cost. If the previous filestore was fat32, mount the drive as a slave and try this free data recovery app:-
If it was ntfs, you'll probably need a commercial app (try Google). have a good one, and you could try this shareware - HTH

thanx - pc inspector did the job perfectly - all data saved
:-D
