Hi all,
I've got the following problem.
A disk-failure (IDE) occured on my server
(RedHat 7.0/Raid(1)).
The amazing point is the restricton of the damage to
a couple of partitions.
Further more it happens that all changes of files
(e.g. in /etc) are set back to the previous version
on a particular time at night. If I change the
/etc/hosts.allow for example, I see the unchanged
version of the former day on the following day.
The same problem happened to a second of my server
just a few days later. He also marked partitions
(not all) of a disk as damaged.
I really appriciate any hint.
greetings markus
