Hello,
I have a few IBM ThinkPad T41's and T42's deployed with Virtual PC, and they work fine for a few days. After that, they would get a blue screen upon boot up with the message "STOP: c0000221 {Bad Image Checksum} The image COMCTL32.DLL is possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match the computed checksum..." The guest OS would fail to boot up after that. I have tried to re-install the guest operating system, but the blue screen would return after a few days. This problem does not occur with IBM ThinkPad T23 or T30. Any idea what could be wrong?
Both the host and guest operating systems are running Windows 2000.
Thanks,
Ken
