I have an existing network of which i have run the autotopology process to discover my network. The network was discovered and was correctly represented.i have now recently added two new devices of which i would like to add to all relevant folders.

Running an autotopology seed to the subnet range of which the devices belong i can discover my new devices without having to rediscover the existing network.

Is there a way to do it without using autotopology and without having to rediscover the existing network ?

I know that using device creation and the link creation method one can manually add a device, but can i manually add these devices without using these methods.(for example can it be generated upon installlation of the device).

You can rediscover a specific subnetnetwork from the Optivity server.Bring up Optivity on the server, select the subnetwork folder, highlight the specific subnetwork, right click and select rediscover.
