Discription in Cognos Query

I have an existing CQ model and I need to add column discriptions into the model (from the Oracle Database.) Is there a way to refresh the Data Access layer to retrieve the comments from the database?

Also, I noticed that the comments in the Oracle database are imported into the "Imported Description Text" field in Architect and they do not appear in the CQ model after you publish it to Upfront. Do I have to copy these discriptions into the "Discription Text" field.
