Hi,
We are running two Citrix 1.8 servers with NT4 TSE. Lately when I come in the morning the CPU is being eating up by the DiscoveryServic, which I'm not exactly sure what it is (I'm a relative noob). The programs are running very slowly because of this and sometimes making them unusable. If I reboot the servers its fine again until the following morning or a couple days later. I've also tried to end that process to see what it would do and it frees up the CPU again and restarts the service but I'm sure there's another way to do this. When I do this, it also seems to disallow the Citrix servers from connecting to the outside world. I've browsed through the services in the control panel but didn't find a service to this effect.
I guess my questions are:
Does anybody know what does this service does?
Is there an easier way to reset that service other than rebooting?
Thanks
Tom
