Discovery IP

I have two XTS systems that I am trying to network using the Discovery IP cards. Our two networks are connected via a PPTP VPN provided by a Windows 2003 server.
The systems are configured as follows.

XTS Jacksonville
Stations 1100-1199
IP- 128.1.1.200
Router IP- 128.2.1.200

XTS Orlando
Stations 2100-2199
IP- 128.2.1.200
Router IP- 128.1.1.200

Currently, if I try to call an extension on the remote system I get an error tone. Also, on the LANB card the Ch. Status LED's 5 & 6 blink constantly.

Please let me know if you have any information on this problem, or need other information from me.

We have several sites here in Europe that runs OK.
In the beginning we assembled all sites in one test room before we send the relvant PBX'es out to the customers.
Today all IP sites are installed locally w/o problems.
You will need - as you already have - an uniform numbering plan and you need to pinge from site A to site B and vice versa.
If you try to call an extension on the remote system and get an error tone, this can be because of many faults.
You should have accwss to the IP network CO group.
All IP paramters in PGM 320-324 and 340 shoul be set correctly.
The LANB card the Ch. Status LED's 5 & 6 blink constantly,
this means that the channel is busy (5&6).

The LED showing status (LED 1-8)hould be OFF when idle.
LED 10 and 11 (lower buttom front) should blink constantly
showing that IP packets are received and transmitted.
LED12 should always be ON showing that the link is up and running OK.
