I have inherited a network with around 40 Cisco switches and no paperwork (wonderful...) rather than go around all the switches individually, is there any software i can install on my XP box that will automatically search my network (using CDP?) and give me a list of what ip addresses my switches have (if they have any at all)?

Thanks for any help offered

Cisco Network Assistant will do this I think (been a long time since I checked).

CNA will support up to 40 but no more than that . It does not support big boxes like a 6500 .
