Have a magix system in clamshell with 2 cabinets of legend cards.
Client first heard buzzing on the lines, then the lines began disconnecting, and then callers on the other end could not hear them at times. All of these problems were intermittent.
Verizon came out, tested, and said "not our lines. It is your phone system." grrr.....

I traded out the 800 gs/ls card that houses the lines in the system. Buzzing was gone and system seemed fine.

5 days later, all the problems are back except the buzzing. I am going to replace the 800 card again, but this really does sound like a telco issue.

Could the processor be going?

What does your error log say about the card. I suppose you could have a buttset ready to tap into a line when is is failing...

Is the chassis grounded???? if so check the ground connection. If not, sounds like your power supply in the
cabinet could be going sour...you might want to replace with
a C1 version.
Are your lines copper or do they come to you via a HiCap
circuit?

Error Log shows nothing for Wednesday.

Ground is secure and fine.

Had the issue on Wednesday, Yesterday there were no complaints and the problems seemed to vanish.

Will see how today goes.

Weather was fine both days, so I can not think environmentals were the issue.

Sounds more and more like a telco issue to me.

I eliminated the buzz when I replaced the 800 card.
The disconnections and hearing issues seem to be intermittent.

Yeah I should have used one of these > ;)
Ruined a good joke.

How about > Someone must have moved the call disconnect generator ;)
