I need to configure Disconnection Tone in my CS1000E. I have done it before and tried to repeat the same procedure, i.e, LD 56, chg, FTC, TLP, XTON 007, XCAD 016, TLPT 10.

I have tried repeating the same tone and cadance codes defined for Busy tone. I tried edd after that and even restarting my system but nothing happened. Any idea what to do?

Forgot to give my LD 56 print:

I'm not sure, but the system may let you configure this even if is did not have "Flexible Tone and Cadences (FTC) package 125" turned on

The result is it just might not work if the package isn't there.

I'd check LD 22 REQ PRT PKG

Changing the FTC values are enough? I mean is there any procedure to apply it, like INI or Resetting DTRs?

Does it make any difference Villa?

Go For It Even If It's Impossible !

yes, because all your xton are in mulaw. Change all xton 003 to xton 130 and 004 to 129. But before you do that, change 1 particular xton (TLP XTON = 130 TLPT = 10) that you want to test.

Regards,
Villareal

changing the system to Mu-Law will solve the problem, or, conversely, changing XTON of TLP to 130, TLPT to 10 will solve the problem, is that what I should understand?

I am stuck in this issue. Thank you very much for your responses.

I tried changing TLP to 130 and TLPT to 10, didnt change already set A-Law. Nothing happened.

I just checked and found that companding law of my system was MU Law.... Any clue Villareal?

Go For It Even If It's Impossible !

Its strange, and more strange thing that I couldnt get answer of this very issue. I changed my system to A-law frm Mu-law. Tried changing values in A-Law format (129 XTON, 30 XCAD)... Changed it back to Mu-Law, tried again to Mu-Law values (XTON 4, XCAD 2)..
Have tried LDTA as well... still nothing. What else can be the issue? I am badly stuck with this problem...

cHANGING FROM aLAW TO mULAW OR vise versa needs a sysload to take effect..

Villareal

I performed an EDD and restarted the system. It changed to A-Law successfully. I can show you the captures as well.

Please print and check Alaw Configuration

LD 17 (Parm)
PCML = A

LD 17 (ATRN)
CODE = 2

LD 97 (SYSP)
INTN = yes

LD 97 (XCTP)
DTMF = 138

Villareal

I was using LD 97 (XCTP), DTMF = 14 rather then 138. Have changed my system back to Mu Law since nothing happened at A-Law. I will give it a try again if you suggest it can effect positively. Thanks for helping me..
