Hello.
Hmmm...this seems like a long shot, but I'll ask anyway:
Is there a way to disconnect ALL connected users to a file using VB?
We have an MS Access database with user-level security. For the past two weeks, the system.mdw file has been getting corrupted about every two days.
If I can free up the file, I figure I can create a routine that disconnects all connected users, takes a backup copy of the good mdw, copies it, deletes (or renames) the corrupted copy and then renames the original backup to "system.mdw". This way with one click, everybody is back on the road.
I'm using the VB Forum because I want to do it in a VB Exe.
Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
-Mike
