Thanks

You eill receive a message
"err3056" TN was forced disconnected due to service change.

switchy,
I believe your terminal will produce a code of:
ERR 3056 tn. I do not know of anyway around this, however, if you TRAK l s c u in LD_80, you can see if they are actually on the phone (SCR/SCN), or if a feature such as MSB of CFWD is active. I usually STAT them before making any changes (LD_32, or LD_20, LD_10, LD_11). Hope this helps!!

serves them right for asking.......

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

yes and the good thing about that is that it's free, from load 20.. stat (tn) if output= idle then disu (tn) make your change, the station will enable it self..

Just like John said. You should ALWAYS disu the set before making a change. Especially if it has an AOM. I have seen a 2616 set with a AOM loaded INIT the PBX many times. It only took one time for me to learn that lesson.

very true on the init. but that is self training, if you init one a time or two you'll remember to disu
