I have a MICS with 5.1 software that has most of its lines from a channel bank. I am having alot of problems with confrence calls and hang ups that do not disconnect. Is there any timing setting on the MICS or what can I tell the carrier to do to eliminate these problems??

Thank you

Are you using a LEC or a CLEC for dial tone? If using a CLEC shorten your disconnect supervision timer.

A CLEC (XO Communications) The circuit comes in over a Verizon T-1 and then goes through an Adtran router where they pull out the v.35 for the data bandwidth and then through a channel bank for the dial tone. I will try to shorten disconnect suppervision timer.

Thank You,

I have had this problem. What has worked for me is to make sure that XO is in fact sending a DC signal. I dont think they do by default.
