Disconnect Supervision on ATA2

I have a MICS 5 that has an ATA2 looped back into a CO port to be able to provide integration with a nurse call system. The nurse call system needs to be able to receive dtmf from the wireless sets that it calls. The only way that I have been able to get this to work without enabling long tones on each call is to loop an ATA2 back into a co port that is programmed to ring the wireless set. What has occasionally been happening is that the nurses are not ending the call correctly, so the nurse call hangs up but the co port does not drop and therefore the line stays busy. I have supervision on the co port, and have been able to recreate the proble on demand. Any ideas on what I can do to get the line to drop automatically?

Thanks

Simon

ata's do not have disconnect supervision... try looking at a 3rd party product...does not matter what the trunk programming says ata will almost always hose up. someone on prev post said konnex makes ata's that have disconnect supervision

There is a unit called the VMI. I believe that supports disconnect supervision. Haven't used on in awhile.
