I used to do a lot of Aspect stuff in the old days w/ Procomm for DOS but now I've upgraded to Procomm plus 4.8 and have a question.
In the DOS version once connected to a device and you've entered a password you would perform an ALT-X and it would ask if you wanted to disconnect and you would say yes then it would ask if you want to hang up line and you could answer no, This would allow you to connect to that port with another program.
Does anyone know of a way to accomplish the same thing in the windows version of Procomm?

What I do, is to connect to a system via a comm port that the internal modem uses. This way, you should be able to close down Procomm and use another comms program.

All the best
