Hi,
we are using the Octel VMX 100 with Software 7.1.4.and i have a problem without a solution.

Scenario Description:
A pbx extension is diverted to the VMX100.
An internal or external party calls the extension and the Mailbox at the VMX answer the call.
(sometimes the greeting is on and sometimes the greeting is off)

1.When the caller leave a message and do not hang on the vmx answer with the Message. "Thanks for the message please
enter a extension number" when the caller do nothing the greeting from the intercept mailbax is played.

2.When the caller do nothing after the BEEP ( to leave a message) he gets the greeting from the intercept mailbox as well.

What i want is, the VMX should disconnect the call after silent is detected.
No other Greetings should be played.

At the system parameter, cos and info table i can`t find nothing to reach this goal.

Hi desteh1

Try to add COS attribute 11 to the actual COS.

"11": "NO system PROMPT after GREETING, go straight to recording"
Use the command .A COS.
BR doktor

Hi doktor,

Hi again

I would correct the following system paramters:

Use this command: .m sys

33 should be set to E (expect dial tone)
45 should be set to *21*9#
46 should be set to #21#
130 should be set to NO. Then you don't get the BEEP when calling in.
150 should be set to YES, not shown in my example.
151 should be set to YES, not shown in my example.
154 should be set to YES, not shown in my example.

149 should be set to NO. (My suggestion)

After these changes the VMX-100 might need a restart.
