Hello,

I have a problem whit the RAD greetings. In night2 a ip device is call routed always to a RAD hunt group whit 1 rad port. There are no call handlings or what so ever programmed on the hunt or rad port. But after playing the RAD i hear MOH. I want the caller to be disconnected instead of let the caller hear some nice tunes from the MOH. I have programmed this situation a few other times whitout any problems. This was in older releases.
I have tryed every option and every timer in the cos, so does anyone have a brilliant idea? I'm out of options.

Thanks, Mark.

system type? 3300 or SX200?
What is providing the RAD greeting? Embedded Mail / External device?

Software level is old needs to be more specific.

3300 CX release 7 whit embedded voicemail.
Also tryed to run the database on 9ur3, whit the same problem. I have had it worked om R5.

Best Setup:
Create ACD Agent Group - Allow callers to queue with no members logged in
Create Path
- Assign to agent group
- assign 1st recording to RAD Hunt Group
- Enable Interflow
- Interflow timeout = Recording time of RAD +5 seconds
- Interflow Point DN = (BLANK) - this will cause hangup

The DN numbers for the Agent group and Path do not matter.
I would typically number them as follows

VM port for RAD = 1111
Hunt group for RAD = 1*1111
Agent Group for RAD = 2*1111
Path for RAD = 3*1111

I know this doesn't answer your question but what if you sent the caller to a greeting only mailbox. That would play a greeting and then disconnect. You might need to use a NameTag hunt group to shed the integration of the original IP device.

kwbMitel, last vrijdag i have set it up just the way you sad. And i works perfect. I will try it whit a voicemail message only box, becaurse I only have a limited amount of dsl channels. But after playing a message only box you get the mitel voicemail, i have tryed to turn this of whit the techcode in the admin box. I will make a setup in my lab to test it further.

Thanks for the help.

Not sure where LoopyLou was going with that one.

Embedded mail doesn't have any mailboxes that play a message and hangup.

The advantage of the ACD method is that multiple callers can hear the message at the same time, so it doesn't require as many ports. As long as you don't turn on Dial out of queue, you shouldn't consume DSP resources.
