Hi,
Microsoft's kb article about how to configure Exchange 5.5 to display a disclaimer on all outgoing mail (imsext.dll) has one major flaw - it allows relaying and actually disables the configuration pages that would allow you to prevent relaying. This essentially makes is unusable, so...

Does anyone know of a product/tool/exchange add-in (apart from Mimesweeper) that will allow a disclaimer to be added but that will also run on Windows NT Server 4/Exchange 5.5?
There are several products out there but they generally require Windows 2000 Server as a minimum...

Any advice would be welcomed, (as would be 3 points for Newcastle United tonight...)

cheers.

I had the same problem with the Configuration and Routing tabs missing. It was actually down to the Remote Registry Service not running.

Good Luck tonight Toon Army

Thanks Taffy - we don't have the Remote Registry service installed at all. How do we get it installed?

cheers for the support! (and the tek-tip!)
