Discards on Giga-port on Accelar 1100 infront of Catalyst

Hi all,
I have a catalyst working infront of Accelar 1100 in Gibic-port.
I have 1 Vlan between them and no ST enabled on the 1100, although I have it enabled on the catalyst.
I have like 1 discard every 10 seconds.
what is the reason for these discards HELP HELP HELP....?
(by the way I tried to disable the ST, or enable it on both sides - it is not the solution....)

Make sure you don't have the discard boxes checked under the VLAN tab for the port. To get to the VLNA tab right click on the port and goto edit. VLAN is the second tab.
