Greetings.

A question regarding Exchange 2003 Disaster recovery:

We have two Exchange servers up and running, one holds all the user mailboxes and the database is regularly backed up.
The other holds no user mailboxes.

My question: is it possible in the case of the failure of the server with the mailboxes
to restore the database to the other server, mount it and simply reconnect the clients to the other server?

It is possible:

How to move a database to another Exchange Server 2003

Restore the database to another server, and use ADModify
to connect users to their mailboxes on the new server.

Any known pitfalls to watch out?
