Hi everyone, I guess I'm im the right place to ask for help.
I'm using DB2 5.0 UDB for OS/2.
Is there any way to restore a database without rolling-forward? I'll make myself clear: My last DB backup needs a log file (S0002955.log) to complete its restore. The problem is: I don't have any log file earlier than this one. The only backup logs that I have are: S0002966.log, S0002967.log, etc. The backup was online, so that's the reason why it uses log files to complete the rollforward after the restore.
Please, let me know if there's a way to restore this database without the need of log files (active/next to be read), or if there's a way to recover its data (even if I have to create a new database).
Thanks in advance. I hope someone can save my job... )
