Hi

I have a bit of a situation, I have an existing 5.5 server running on Advanced 2k, and is a dc, have a win2003 box that is the master dc, I need to do a disaster recovery of the Exchange 5.5 server. Just for info, the box i have for the DRP server, is a completely different hardware configuration, so there is know way to do a system state restore. Also this DRP box needs to be running on our existing network, but off site. Therefore have thought that i could go the pst route, and just create a new mail server, different name that would just act as a post office. Have put the new mail server into a different organization, but same site. Tried the same site, but then can't create new recipients with same name should the original server fall over. Firstly is there a way to delete recipients from the original site, even though the server they are homed on is offline? Or is the route i am trying all wrong, I am able to recreate all the recipients, on the new server, have run a test and can send out but can't recieve external mail.

Please help
thx
