HI,

Are you creating the Win2k setup disks using a win2k CD which has a service pack integrated into it??

if so you will get this error.

please create the win2k setup disk using a Win2k CD without any SPs intergrated...

cheers

no i don't get an error creating the disks/cd this part goes fine, i get the error when doing the disaster recovery, it doesn't matter if i do it with floppy's or bootable cd, both times it asks for an service pack 1 cd, after selecting the partition to install win2k in

HI,

The boot disk creation will not be a problem...

when u create these using a Win2k CD with a built in SP...

the DR procedure will give u this error...

try creating the boot disks with a Win2k CD without any SPs

cheers
