Can someone tell me if the DR info is designed to write to it's designated locations during every full backup, or does it only write to them during the initial boot disk creation??

Thanks in advance [bigears]

Well, i have but yet another Arcserve isuue!!!!!

Is there no end to the madness that comes along with the use of ARCSERVE???

I have spent countless hours configuring this piece of %*@# and every time i get one of our servers working 100% with this program something else fails on another server!

You must have to be a certified trained Arcserve guru to have any success with this.

I actually have one of our Exchange servers, which is also our PDC at our sister company, using Veritas and once it was configured, vwala, no problems.

Sorry for the venting, but i have even called dell and spoke with there Arcserve guy and the knowlede a person must have to succesfully run this program is rediculous. Unless you are just running a simple backup, with none of their agents deployed, this program is a huge waste of money and especially a tremendous waste of man hours!!!!!!!

[thumbsdown]
