We just discovered that one of the insert triggers for a table has disappeared. A check of a backup from a few weeks ago shows it was there at that point, but none of the development staff believes they did anything to cause the disappearance. This is the second instance where this appears to have happened since we upgraded to SQL Server 2000. Has anyone else had this experience?

Only when someone or some process deletes the trigger. I don't beleive it happens because of a bug in SQL Server. At least, we have not experienced such a problem. Terry L. Broadbent - DBA
