My application (Access 2000 on NT 4.0 workstation) has a tab control on the main form. It has three tabs -- default view and two other views (A subform on each tab).

For some users, the tabs do not appear, so they can only
work on the default form.

For others, the tabs always are there.

For about half of the users, the tabs are sometimes there
and sometimes not.

All users have the same version/built of Access 2000. I haven't yet been able to compare MDAC version.

My first thought is that this is a memory problem. But has
anyone else run into this phenomenon? I would appreciate
any suggestions.

John

There are two common problems. 1. Your users are using different screen resolutions than what you developed the form in; and/or 2. You are using Form Headers/Footers and the footer's height is too high.

If you developed the form in a resolution of 1024x768 but you have users whose screen resolution is set at 800x600, this can happen. Either have your users change their screen resolution to the resolution you developed the form in, or re-develop the form using the lowest resolution your clients are using.

If you are using a form header, make sure the form footer's width is set to 0. John Ruff - The Eternal Optimist :)
