Does anyone no why my query.php file cannot be seen in the folder where I put it.
I had someone email me a query.php file I try to save it to a folder. Then when I look for file in folder it cant be seen and the properties say the folder is empty(no bytes). I try to save attachment again to same folder and it says do I want to replace exsiting file I go yes go to folder and file not there. This is driving me crazy. Can I please forward the email with attached file and can someone rename extention and send it back to me.
TIA Bill

Sounds like a permission problem to me. I know that I can't see .htaccess files using ftp and if I want to change anything I have to go into the command line to change anything.

Presumably it's a similar problem with your file.

Thanks Richard I put the attached file on a floppy and tried to view it on my sons PC and it was there. I took the same floppy and put it in my PC and it was not there. Folder which contained the file had zero bytes. I used my son pc to FTP the file to my host site and that did the trick I now have my site up and running. Would it be possible that my PC has something set up to stop query files running on it.
Tanks again Bill

This question will be better answered in a forum regarding the operating system you use.

Bill, you say the file is called query.php. It seems unlikely that your computer recognises this as anything other than a php file (and if you are talking windows as the operating ystem it probably doesn't recognise it as much of anything). Check the way the computer views files in the folder options in explorer. I always let it display all files; system and hidden ones as well as normal files. This may help.
