Disappearing Palette

My Layers Palette will not display.

When you select it from the Window list it doesn't even put a tick next to it, so it's not just hidden out of the screen...

Any ideas?

...have your tried setting the workspace to default, go to window > workspace > default. See if that kicks it back into sync. If not tru trashing illustrators preferences file so it can rebuild another one...
