Disappearing Connections Tab

Ok, I did a little raw properties configuration yesterday and now today the Connections Tab is missing on all of my Ex5.5 servers! The configuration I did was in the Deliv-ext-cont-types, adding entries, and changing the Heuristics of the servers and x.400 and SMTP connectors to 512. These changes came down from my companies headquarters IT dept. Could either of these changes make this happen? Can anyone explain what the Deliv-ext-cont-types and Heuristics are? And to make things worst my entire Exch. Site can't send traffic. We are receiving email fine, but nothing is going out. It's been a long while since I've gone in depth with Exch. and this whole thin has taken me for a whirl.
