Hello,

when i try and run my data doobrie in DTS, i get the following error

statement could not be prepared
disallowed implicit conversion from data type datetime to data type int, column name blah blah

but the column where the data is coming from and going to our both integers, why does it come up with this datetime thing ?

I'm not familiar with the term "data doobrie." Perhaps you could enlighten me. Being a professional myself, I hate to be in the dark.

In the meantime, I assume SQL Server is attempting to convert a datetime column to integer or the error would not have occurred. If the "data doobrie" is a transform data task are your certain the columns are properly mapped?

If you want to get the best answer for your question read faq183-874 and faq183-3179.
