Is there a way to disallow the call pickup any from the feature/function soft key in the digital telephones 1416/1408.

Customer has requested to remove it from the menu as the users are miss using this feature. The only way I found in the IP office is to remove the short code *30. But still the call pickup any is active under the feature soft key.

The 1408/1416 do not have a dedicated pickup key so it must have been added in button programming either under the user of in a user rights form.

if the cust does not want it then delete it (the button that is).

I do not Have A.D.D. im just easily, Hey look a Squirrel!

It is actually in the menu.
I don't think you can remove it.
You better tell the customer that the users need to listen and not use it.

When you pay peanuts, you get monkeys!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

ah, never looked at the menu

Looks like the best solution is to swap the handset for a 1403 for any user caught miss using the featue :)
