Hi all
It's me in the mire again! Ok, one of our execs here has decided that he wants to be able to access other people's machines at any point in the day. Problem, we run a Novell Netware Network so he can log into our network from any machine using his own user name & password, as soon as he does this he gets the Windows login screen. When i first setup XP client machines i told all the users not to put a tick in the little box that says "change password to the same as network after sucessful login" this was so as any user could just hit the enter button & go straight through the windows login screen. Unfortunately, i probably don't need to tell you that, in a computing sense some of these people can't walk & chew gum at the same time! Our exec is now demanding that i give him a list of everybody's user name & passwords on a piece of paper that he can keep with him. This won't work 'cause contrary to previous instructions, some people have setup their own passwords on the workstations which even i don't know to keep people out. Does anybody know of a way out of this while keeping everything secure and keeping those people for whom even Binary gives them too many options happy? What i'd like to do is have so that when he puts in his password to the Novell client login screen, and only his password, it overides all workstation passwords, is this possible?
Many thanks
Sargie.
