Disabling VM Pro Prompts

I was wondering if there was a way to disable some of the VM options or prompts while leaving a message. For instance, I have a customer that would like to disable the ability to make a message private while leaving a message for someone. If there is anyway to do this I would like to know. Thanks.

The short answer is to re-record the prompt with words of your choice. The selection will still work, but caller won't know that a particular selection is available without the prompt... HOWEVER - if you do this, you should backup your customized prompts to some untouchable location and copy to appropriate default directory each time you upgrade VMPro. You cannot change the "operation" of the interface.

Remove wav file 14 in the following folder assuming that this is where you installed it.

C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\VM\WAVS\enu

the system will then just skip over that prompt and continue on.
