Disabling URL Alternate Text In links When Creating/Editing a PDF

I want to disable Alt Text popups from appearing in links
I create/edit in my PDFs. In my application these popups,
containing the links' URLs, are distracting and serve no purpose.

I cannot seem to find anything anywhere in the
literature or online about doing this.

Does anyone, anywhere, know how this is done?
